 I came to know about SMART from my friends and joined the Foundation Course. Initially I found it difficult to understand the new concepts. But as the classes progressed, all my doubts and misconceptions in Maths, Physics and Chemistry were completely cleared.
Prof. KK Anand Sir clearly explained intricacies of different concepts in Mathematics which seemed very tough to understand initially. Coming to Physics, Sir started with Class 11 Chapters. He never rushed up through any topic. He teaches us slowly, giving us time to visualize the concept or problem. Instead of blind formula substitution, Sir explains every step conceptually. In Physical Chemistry also his lectures are inimitable.

The Assignments, Workbooks, Study Material, are of exceptional quality. After completion of each chapter tests are conducted. In the first few tests I used to just browse through my notes at the last minute and consequently my marks were also very low. SMART class is an institution of relevance and reverence. Relevance due to its teaching content and methods, reverence due to its faculty and its presence in educational field. I am in class X and aspire to join IIT. It may be proper to say that if IIT is the destination, SMART is the journey and its classes are the vehicles. I have been attending SMART class from the beginning of std IX and we, the students have enjoyed every moment of the class. Before I joined 9th standard in SMART, I was not confident about my Maths and Science topics. I was indeed nervous on my first class. I am S Tinesh Kumar studying in KK Nagar centre for more than one year. First of all I am really proud to be a student of SMART, the most reputed institution in Chennai preparing students for competitive exams. Here they teach us many concepts which are supposed to be very difficult to understand by students in general. But, if one attends with sincerity, it can be understood - which also brings in considerable amount of confidence in us. In fact, after attending there classes my school scores also went up. Teaching is excellent to say the least.

My name is Arthi.R. I am a student of 9th standard from nanganallur branch. I have been attending SMART since June 2010.
According to me, SMART has proved to be very knowledgeable. It has helped me in scoring good marks in science and mathematics in school. Since the portions of higher classes are being taught to us, it becomes easy to cope up with the school topics.
The faculties were also very good. They taught us very well. I wish the same faculties could continue for 10th standard also in nanganallur branch.
The only drawback is that we do not get proper information when holidays are declared. We go to the centre, wait there for a long time and then return back home. It would be helpful if proper information is sent to us regarding this matter in advance. And regarding the tests too, it would be helpful if information about the subject and the portions is given to us some 3-4 days in advance. We get the information only the previous day which makes it difficult to prepare for the tests; we have the school tests also.
Other than that, I do not feel any problem with SMART. I feel it as a good institution.

Smart classes were helpful to understand the basic concepts which made advanced learning and solving HOTS questions easier .The faculty provided for our branch was apt and I hope it continuous for 10 th grade. There is not much stress as classes are on weekdays which keeps the weekends free. The tests contained good quality questions especially physics but it should be more organized (the no of questions and difficulty level). Chemistry classes were the best. Maths classes gave us methods for solving the theoretical questions in a good way which helps in competitive exams..I have made use of my to the maximum level.

Out of my heart ,smart classes are superb,all the teachers teach us to a great extent that none of us can tell that " I can't understand what they teach." A drawback is that tests are not held regularly and that we are not able to know about our knowledge in academics ,but otherwise everything is excellent .Our teachers are very caring-they are not only completing their portions but teach us a lot of extras in the subjects .That's what I can say . But there are a lot more things to report about our teachers. We plead you to put the same teachers for us in the next year too.

I have stepped into SMART family in class IX i.e., in 2010. Primarily in class IX I haven’t focused much during the initial days. I have no experience of K K Anand sir’s teaching as I am attending classes in Anna Nagar batch. But, I have interacted with him twice that inspired me and got enthusiasm to take up my class X seriously and got a fair idea of understanding the basics in depth in key subjects (M/P/C). Applying the same concept in studies is the winning methodology for students.
