KK Anand Sir

KK Anand Sir is a topper from BITS, Pilani with a special dual Engineering degree ie. BE (Hons) Chemical Engineering and BE (Hons) Computer Science completed in five years (1992-97). He is also a topper of his MS (USA) batch in Chemical Engineering (1997-99). He has been well acknowledged by professors and his peers as one of the brightest in the campus with very sharp intellect and sound analytical skills. He has been the favourite student of many Teachers, Professors and cherished friend of many who especially learnt a lot from him during the college days. He was a multifaceted personality excelling in various fields and remained as a person with strong values, to be looked upon as a role model by his juniors. Leaving all the lucrative opportunities at USA, he returned to India by 1999, soon after his MS studies, to dwell more on Indian philosophy, that being his personal interest. He never worked anywhere. It's a great boon to the student community that he took the task of IIT-JEE training from 2004 by instituting Science and Mathematics Academy for Real Talents (SMART). It has been a revolution at Chennai in this field and he has taken IIT-JEE training to an entirely new dimension. The most remarkable characteristic is that, he always thinks in the best interest of the students, while he is straightforward, honest, a person of integrity and one without the mentality of commercial exploitation. Though with lots of credentials, he is quite simplistic with traditional lifestyle, polite and humble in nature.
