As you see, the ranks and scores in the different competitive exams were mainly because of the expert guidance and wonderful teaching of our JEE coaching profs (of course depends on you too!) It was Vindy (Vinod Kumar, another fellow IITian) who first mentioned KK Anand sir. I had heard about his challenging exams and higher level problem solving classes, and hence thought “hey why not try it there, I might do better" and this really paid off... I was quite shocked when I attended his first few classes - 'how can a prof be so friendly with his students!!!'. He came down to our level and interacted more like a student than a rigid prof, but then it sunk in no time and I began eagerly looking forward for his classes as they were of so much fun as well. He solved numerous problems (making us do as well and correcting us). More the problems solved the better the concepts are understood, and that's just what happened. Sometimes if the class was too tough or we went rickety he vivified the entire atmosphere, sometimes picking in vindy (who enjoyed all the attention bestowed on him) and we lightened up at his expense. This simply got us doing better afterwards! Overall, this was one of the best classes I had ever had and one that I really enjoyed, an experience, which I would forever cherish (forget the slogging part for JEE- it was a nightmare) for the rest of my life!! After few months, I heard about Prof. K.K. Anand (we used to call him KK sir) from a very good friend of mine and I started attending KK sir's classes as well. The advantage of me going to both professors for physics initially was that I could decide which was more suited for cracking IIT-JEE and then I decided to go for KK sir's classes. It certainly did wonders to my confidence level and I felt that I can crack IIT-JEE for sure. KK sir's teaching mainly highlights the importance of understanding concepts and applying them to problems rather than just mugging them up. The classes are enjoyable and the student-teacher bonding is just awesome. The good thing about KK sir is that he finishes the portions very early, which gives us extra time for revising at the end. Although our batch was the first batch he was teaching, many people got through IIT-JEE and all the others are either in BITS, NITs or NUS. As I start penning down, my mind is filled with the sweet memories of KK Anand Sir's classes - the biggest turning point of my life. What I experienced is surely beyond my levels of description. I wholly cherish all that happened and am greatly indebted to KK Sir. I remember with joy, the days wherein I was the only student, as well as those with lots of my school friends also as KK Sir's students. I cherish all those finer moments of the class wherein he used to target me and pose tricky questions to extract some answer(s), which would soon be proved to be conceptually absurd by Sir in his humorous touch, with the entire class having great fun at my expense. The personal guidance I had almost on a day to day basis either through direct interaction or through telephone is still vivid in my memories. I had full guidance not only for IIT-JEE, but also for BITSAT and AIEEE. KK Sir is certainly the main reason for all of my success. I just sincerely followed whatever he expected me to do so and am very happy at IIT now. It is mainly his guidance that enabled me to secure city first in BITSAT and State First in AIEEE. The Initial days : First of all, it's a very great privilege to be KK Anand sir's first student for IIT-JEE preparation. In 10 th summer holidays (2004 summer), I attended KK Anand sir's IIT-JEE bridge course for Mathematics and Physics (which was started after my request), in which several topics like Theory of Equations, Functions, Trigonometry, Calculus, Vectors, Kinematics, Newton's Laws were dealt with. Though KK Sir's in-depth and crystal clear explanations were very appealing and amazing in the class, I was not able to assimilate everything at that moment. I had to revise well at home to retain all the concepts. The reason was very obvious - how can a student who has just finished his 10 th Std without any additional exposure, can absorb so much with ease initially?. But as days progressed I persisted and my level of understanding and retention had become much better. From then on, his classes became much more enjoyable and fun-filled. After those summer classes I noticed that I had gained a huge edge over others in IIT-JEE preparation. Not to my surprise, Sir went on to take physics for IIT JEE (I obviously joined him), though I wished that he should have taken Maths as well. IIT JEE coaching for Physics under KK Sir : Coming to sir's teaching in physics, he explained the concepts in a very creative manner and developed the art of visualization to an extent that given any problem, we would be able to approach it properly and solve it. He strongly emphasized the fact that, once one visualizes what is involved in the problem, the rest will be routine mathematical calculations. I was teased and ridiculed by some of my school friends for attending KK Sir's classes, as everyone else were attending elsewhere with Profs having many years of experience. They made fun of my decision and my so called blind faith in someone having zero experience in IIT-JEE coaching. But, these things were only short lived for few months. In the contrary, KK Sir made what others presume to be really a challenging subject, a cakewalk. To be frank, what was done elsewhere in Chennai was not even one-tenth, in terms of the quality of teaching and the innumerable problems KK Sir solved via problem sheets. When I showed KK Sir's problem sheets to my bright friends in school, attending classes elsewhere, they were both shocked and surprised. The reason was their sub-standard preparation for JEE and the extremely high quality of problems in KK Sir's sheet. So, many of them decided to make the change over! Apart from his problem sheets and class notes, his tests were a real class apart!! He coined very interesting problems in each test and we used to enjoy writing his tests. He finished the portions much ahead of time and at a level more than required for JEE which was certainly helpful in performing well in NSEP and Indian National Physics Olympiad. Last but not the least, our school physics became quite easy, since Sir would have mostly finished the requisite chapters ahead of the school. But, even the bright students who didn't attend KK Sir, spent lot of time for school physics itself and still felt quite uncomfortable. Another vital aspect of his coaching was that, he guided all of us through the right choice of books etc, not only in physics but also in Mathematics and Chemistry. It was certainly a breakthrough in our preparation. All of his students immensely benefited from his guidance, which made us understand the ways and extent to which preparation must be done for all the three subjects. This personal touch and guidance was also missing in the place where I attended Maths and Chemistry – almost the entire school attended the same professors, the most popular choice of that time. Some of my friends who were quite bright, repented a lot later for not having switched over to KK Sir's classes for Physics, as they obtained much lower ranks in IIT-JEE. Similar repentance is prevalent among many good students in the city, in my junior batches as well. KK Sir's coaching for IIT-JEE Maths : The way he taught Calculus in summer (10 th holidays) with deep in-sights was really impressive. I found that KK sir's teaching in Mathematics was even better than that of the professor I attended, while I also liked the classes of my Math professor. I still remember the solitary special class conducted by KK Sir as per the request of many of his students to strengthen their understanding of Limits, Continuity and Differentiability for better performance in a selection test (XI to XII) to be conducted by our Math Prof. After that special class, all the students felt that, they really understood the intricate conceptual aspects involved only then properly, which is much more than the normal application of formulae. Everyone was also very much impressed with the quality of problems solved for illustration. I also later went through some of KK sir's problem sheets for Mathematics JEE (meant for my juniors) and I was really awe-struck by the vast number of quality problems being solved in the class. His Math Tests are also special – simply fantastic and comprehensive. While my Math Prof is very good, I feel that KK Sir is certainly extraordinary for IIT-JEE coaching in Maths. KK Sir's Coaching for IIT-JEE Chemistry : When I heard that KK Sir started to teach General and Physical Chemistry, I became really curious. When I saw the class notes, Assignments and Test Papers, it was unbelievable. I never imagined that KK Sir could do Chemistry in the same special level as that of Physics and Maths. He is certainly a genius for IIT-JEE coaching purposes. Conclusion : To sum it up, KK Sir's coaching will suit the best for a talented student who wants to be assured of a good rank in JEE. It is a fact that KK Anand Sir is certainly the best professor for IIT-JEE coaching in Chennai, with his quality of coaching way above others. The potential of KK Sir is of unbelievable level and very unique. Its so much like a fairy tale that whenever he has handled a subject for the first time, he has set much better standards than others who have been handling it for many years at Chennai. Moreover, he has stepped up the levels of coaching even further in these couple of years. KK Sir has thus infused fresh air to the students of Chennai who are serious about IIT-JEE and am sure that with more number of bright students opting for his classes, better the results will be for Chennai. Now, I am hopeful of seeing Chennai students even among the most coveted top 10 AIRs of IIT-JEE and also representing India for International Olympiads more regularly. After my batch's success, many students started to feel KK Sir as God of Physics for IIT-JEE in Chennai, and now Maths as well as Chemistry are added to that, and rightly so!! International Informatics Olympiad Training Camp Attendee. I am an electrical engineering student at IIT Madras having got through IIT-JEE 2007. I had my Physics JEE classes under Professor K.K.Anand. One of the main reasons why I joined his classes, apart from the fact that many of my renowned seniors were under him, was that the classes began in April 2005 itself. As a result, lot of portions were covered in our XIth class itself, which gave us more time in the second year to concentrate on other subjects, and also gave us a headstart for preparing towards Physics olympiad. Sir's classes and tests were of high standards and hence the learning process became very effective. The class was highly competitive as well, which along with Sir's counseling encouraged us to work harder. The books suggested by Sir were also immensely useful in preparing for all the three subjects. I joined professor K.K.Anand's classes for IIT-JEE coaching in 2006 when I had just finished by X board exams. He taught me Physics and Mathematics and professor D.P.Shankaran taught me Chemistry. Training under Prof.K.K.Anand, which is miles ahead of others at Chennai, helped me develop my aptitude towards both the subjects which are very essential for securing a good rank in JEE. Also his classes were very interactive and he paid attention to each and every student. The Assignments and the materials that he gave were wholesome and covered all the concepts required for JEE. His tests were on par with the Olympiads, thereby making JEE look easier. He not only taught me Physics and Maths but also guided me for my Chemistry preparation. DPS Sir's classes were excellent and Organic chemistry has become one of my favourites, though Physics is my favourite subject of all. His interactive style of teaching made us understand the subject very well. Even though hardwork and sincerety helps you crack JEE, it is finally good guidance and teaching that helps you secure an excellent rank to your potential. It was made possible by KK Sir. I can never forget the innumerous interactions Sir had with me voluntarily to guide in each phase of JEE preparation. I have to admit that the period in which I attended KK Anand Sir's classes (X to XII std.) and DP Shankaran Sir's classes (XI to XII std.) is the golden period of my life so far. Foundation Course During my tenth standard, I learnt a lot in all the three subjects, from KK Sir through the IIT-JEE foundation course. It gave a very solid foundation in many topics concerned with XI standard syllabus. His Maths classes were utmost enjoyable with the “points system” for solving problems in the class still etched in my memory. Crucial Decision When I look back, I still remember the days when everyone around me was cautioning and even ridiculing my decision to join KK Sir's classes for IIT-JEE Maths and Physics. They all felt that KK Sir lacked experience and its too risky to join the classes of someone who is going to handle Maths for IIT-JEE, the very first time. Everybody around suggested me to join the classes of the most popular one who has more than 20 years of experience and to whom more than 500 students in the city join every year for Maths. On top of it all, KK Sir's classes are at West Mambalam for which I have to commute quite a distance from Mylapore whereas the other class will be even nearby to my residence. But, I always felt that KK Sir's exceptional teaching skills and talent, powered by his sheer dedication and sound knowledge of IIT-JEE system, will more than compensate the “lack of experience” tag. I had excellent rapport with Sir during my tenth standard and I was sure that Sir will deliver the best. Some of those who attended the other professor for Maths but switched over from that group to KK Sir for Physics alone, got lots of help and guidance from KK Sir for Maths though couldn't attend him directly. It became very important for their IIT-JEE Maths preparation. Now, they all acknowledge that, be it conceptual teaching Or Assignments Or Tests – KK Sir stands out as the best for Maths at Chennai. It is already well known that KK Sir is the most sought after professor for Physics. Infact, KK Sir has become the trend setter. The other professor has started to implement few of KK Sir's methodologies. Just couple of issues can be taken for illustration. For all these 20+ years, classes started by June and only 3 or 4 tests were conducted per subject in the first year. Now, they have started the Summer Session though 1 day per week per subject, and started to have more number of tests. These are announced as measures to improvise their IIT-JEE 2008 results – Out of around 500 students, only three have come in top 1000 [one of whom attended KK Sir for Physics], four between 1001 to 2000 [one of whom attended KK Sir for Physics] and five in 2001 to 3000 [Two of whom are KK Sir's students for Physics]. Hence, I am convinced that the right decision was taken by me to join KK Sir's classes. Many well-wishers got convinced later that it's the best that happened for me and all of those who joined KK Sir's classes for Maths and Physics. IIT-JEE Preparation at SMART The most important factors that feature when it comes to IIT-JEE preparation are hard work on the part of the student, and also training at its provisional best.   KK Sir and DPS Sir primarily provide indepth knowledge in the three subjects. It is quite an enjoyable experience to take their classes, classes which increase the love one has for the subjects multifold, and also makes studying an enjoyable experience. This joy experienced while studying is extremely important, because in the latter stages of JEE preparation, it is possible to put in long hours of study only if the joy involved in the activity is immense. Teaching, Assignments and Tests form the main stream training for IIT-JEE. KK Sir's teaching is very comprehensive and insightful – His lectures are awesome to listen to. It is one which makes you feel sad for the end of the classes. His assignments are very exhaustive in nature. They cover each and every aspect of preparation required for IIT-JEE . There is a wholesome coverage of concepts in the classes, supplemented by the assignment problems thoroughly discussed in the class, leaving no stone unturned to get the completeness in the preparation for any topic. Finally, the test papers are a miracle by themselves. The test papers are set by KK Sir in his unique inimitable style, which will fox even the students who have thoroughly prepared for a topic. His tests are very much complimentary to his Assignments. KK Sir provided lots of extremely useful materials and books, which made us practice well the concepts already learnt, through different levels of problem solving. Another great advantage you gain out of joining the classes here, is the amount of individual attention a student gets. In that direction, the SMART classes are a haven of student friendliness, thanks to the fantastic attitude of KK Sir. Every one of us had great guidance from him for all aspects of our preparation, as Sir used to spell out lots of pointers at different stages. This is a huge factor, which became crucial to many of us for securing better ranks. We actually need much more time to do full justice to what KK Sir expects us to do in our preparation. The workload is quite heavy and it is difficult to meet out the expected levels of preparation, only because of the school related issues. Time available here for IIT-JEE preparation is very minimal compared to other parts of the country wherein thousands of students prepare without even going for school. If one can manage and does the balance act properly ensuring most of what KK Sir expects, excellent result can certainly be assured. Conclusion To put it in a nutshell, for many of the students at SMART and myself, KK Sir is the God of Maths, Physics and Chemistry for IIT-JEE preparation at Chennai, and for any student, who wishes to make it big in his/her life after schooling, SMART is the SMARTest place to be.                 S.Shreyas PS Senior; IIT- Roorkee, Mechanical. From the very beginning, Prof. K.K.Anand's simple yet efficient teaching techniques gave me excellent insight into various concepts. Moreover I was exposed to such a wide variety of problem (and solving techniques) that my problem solving skills improved manifold. These also helped me secure good marks in the boards. SMART helped me streamline my JEE preparation by completing the portions early and outlining the right preparation methods. Also, one-on-one interaction with sir helped me clarify all my doubts. The tests really tested one's understanding and at the same time application skills and they helped develop my confidence. Overall, I am very thankful to Sir for everything he has done. If I had been with any other place for JEE preparation, these achievements wouldn't have been possible. Though I am at interiors of Thiruvanmiyur, the commutation problem faded away by looking at the larger picture of what I gain here, which will not be possible elsewhere at Chennai. I am very impressed by KK Sir's style of teaching especially in Maths. His ‘Calculus' classes were really enjoyable and truly an unforgettable experience. Professor D.P.Sankaran Sir is a highly knowledgeable person and very interactive in his style of teaching in Chemistry. Especially his ‘Organic Chemistry' classes were really enjoyable. IIT-JEE AIR 1825; AIEEE SR 159; BITSATt 350/450; CBSE 466/500; Appeared for INChO. Hi. I'm Rohit Kannan and I was a student of SMART's Two Year Classroom Program. I secured AIR 1825 in JEE 2008. I'm currently pursuing Btech Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras. I would like to attribute this to my Professor Mr. K. K. Anand, who I sincerely feel is one of the best in India for IIT-JEE training. By attending his classes regularly, I got a firm grasp of the concepts which is a key ingredient to crack any competitive exam. Also, the levels of problems sir solved in the classes were excellent and at par with the Olympiad level. He also encouraged us to participate actively in the various Olympiads and facilitated our preparation for the same. The course was even-paced and well structured and gave me ample time for preparation at home. IIT JEE is considered one of the toughest exams to crack in India and one must understand that merely slogging hard for hours together is not the right way to prepare for it. KK Sir (as we affectionately call him) showed us this with his classes comprising of the right mix of fun and studies. One must learn to incorporate some hours of fun and recreation in their schedule irrespective of what they study for and the JEE is no exception! Sir's Assignments provided us with challenging problems and problems for practice. The materials and books he provided were excellent and covered all the topics required for JEE preparation. Sir's tests were a key part of our JEE preparation and provided with tricks and ideas apart from those which he taught us in class, testing our application skills and also providing us with much needed practice and an environment similar to the real JEE. Also the competition I faced in the classes from fellow mates really egged me on to prepare with greater vigour. Many of my friends and myself were very disappointed with our Physics classes for JEE and hence wanted to switch over. We all requested KK Sir to admit us for Physics, with few months of classes already over by then. KK Sir kindly accepted to help us out. The turning point in my preparation for IIT-JEE was that day in which I joined KK Sir's classes. Unlike most IIT-JEE classes where students are rarely given any attention and guidance in a very big group, KK sir's classes are meant for the hard working and intelligent students who need the important extra care to guide them in the right direction. To all of us KK Sir was always more than a teacher. He played the role of a mentor and of a demi-father. His classes were never boring. Every class was a new learning experience. Even after 4 hrs of intensive learning, we never felt tired. His classes are dynamic and even the less interested students become hard workers once they come under his influence. KK sir always dealt till the level of Olympiad, which is well above the level of the JEE and hence preparation for the JEE became quite easy. His way of teaching reached out to students and never failed to inspire in them the love for the subject. His way of teaching and emphasis on conceptual clarity and stability in the way of approaching problem solving was absolutely brilliant. Moreover , he takes enough effort and time to provide excellent materials & books, and ensures that every student is guided properly for JEE preparation. When his classes ended, we were quite depressed. We took invaluable guidance from him for Maths, though couldn't attend him directly. It was very much instrumental for our JEE preparation in Maths. His assignments and tests in Maths and chemistry (as for the juniors) are fantastic to say the least – The best I have ever come across. Though I am one among the top scorers of my batch in the Math tests conducted by my Maths Professor, some chapters in maths were understood by me only because of the help of my friends who are KK Sir's students. They are conceptually very strong and never go by mere formulaes and mechanical application because of KK Sir's teaching -certainly the best in the city. Finally, we all secured rank in IIT-JEE as well. It is because of KK Sir's guidance and teaching that gave me the confidence that I could also make it to IIT and with Sirs blessings and wishes am able to make it into IIT Madras. For many of us, IIT would not have been a possibility if we haven't switched over to KK Sir's classes for Physics during XI standard. Its very kind of him to have admitted us for his Physics classes. It was always pleasure going to KK Sir's class, which had an electrifying atmosphere with highly mind boggling interactive sessions between Sir and us. The materials and books that he provided are the best in the country, and are more than sufficient for clearing JEE . He took so much care in training us to face these competitive exams like IIT-JEE, BITSAT and AIEEE and gave timely advice as to how to approach the paper which was very useful. Many problems that he takes up in the class are all of high level and some times we even call some problems to be OHT (Over Head Transmission). These problems made us understand various topics with much better clarity. The guidance we obtained for Maths through his outstanding Assignments etc, which are the best in Chennai, helped us a lot in our preparation. These two years with Sir would leave in my mind's eye unforgettable vivid memories and his words of advice will keep ringing in my ears and guide me through the path of life. Future of Chennai for IIT-JEE lies with KK Sir. KK Sir and DPS Sir are really dedicated to their work and makes sure that each student understands the concepts taught by them. Ours is the first Maths batch of KK Sir. The way in which he taught maths was ‘amazing'. The approach taken by KK Sir is unique and the best – more conceptual and time saving. Many topics in Maths, which are supposed to be tough, were made easy to understand and we could apply ourselves quite confidently. Calculus became almost a cakewalk to all the students of KK Sir due to this approach. We could visualize many problems and solve in quick time rather than working it out mechanically. Be it theory, assignments Or tests – KK Sir has no match for IIT-JEE Maths in Chennai, a fact well acknowledged by my friends who are students of other institutes. I got a certificate like many students of SMART, for being among the top 1% of students in the state in the Physics Olympiad exam NSEP. This is purely due to KK Sir's training. He is already accepted by all across the city as a Genius in Physics for IIT-JEE. He created the interest for physics in me, which I didn't have before joining him. I am taking this opportunity to highlight the role played by SMART in my academic progress. My JEE preparations started off not as one with a clear target but as one by chance. I haven't had even the slightest idea of what JEE was (I didn't know even the subjects for evaluation). I started attending his classes, which was the first batch, just because they were conducted in the next street. To start off, what I needed was not even the foundation content for JEE but the basic exposure to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and that was exactly what Prof.Anand gave me. It was only from my class X, I knew what I must be doing to crack JEE. Most of the notable professors of the city had come to teach us, and one day, KK sir gave us a lecture on cubic equations. I was amazed by his dynamic teaching style and the interactive class atmosphere, and joined his foundation course the very next day. The rest of his classes were no different, and kindled in me a deep interest in all the subjects. In 11 th begins the crucial stage of JEE coaching, when many students find balancing school and JEE a difficult task. The great advantage of Anand sir's course is that the classes start early (in the 10 th -11 th summer vacation), giving students a head-start. This helps them to manage school lessons easily, and concentrate entirely on JEE syllabus during 11 th and 12 th . Every class was interesting and we made quantum leap in conceptual understanding and problem solving. The momentum gathered very well by the time school re-opened. The first sight of the practical worth of KK Sir's classes was during our early XI standard itself. We found school exams to be a stroll in the park. The foundation course not only enabled me to get a strong hold on all the fundamental concepts, it also helped in improving my ability to think in many different ways. I was gradually introduced to new ways of interpreting things. Moreover, the foundation course also covered the next higher standard syllabus of our academic stream, and trained us for the National Talent Search Examination and Olympiads in Maths & Science. While the training we had till class 10 was outstanding, I am actually at loss of words to describe what we are undergoing in Class 11. KK Anand Sir makes things look very easy and problem solving has become a pleasure for me. He is the students' Friend, Philosopher and Guide in true spirit. The portions covered during the course, was that of CBSE 9 th and 10 th plus a few more chapters for NTSE. Though the classes were good, what was done during the course was less than what I expected. Moreover, frequent change of teachers created problems. It also lacked competitive atmosphere. In contrast, the students of foundation course at SMART have been taught lots of topics in all the three subjects viz. Maths, Physics and Chemistry, and are introduced to good levels of problem solving, much to my liking. After joining SMART, I felt a world of difference. The classes by KK Anand Sir are so interesting, interactive and enjoyable, that no one feels IIT-JEE preparation a burden. There is free interaction between the student and teacher, and the classes are loaded with lots of good stuff that helps in Olympiads too. We did not have much awareness about the standards of coaching by these Professors. Most of the students from our school were planning to join them as a group and hence we also joined. Once the school reopened for XI standard, we had a chance to look at the assignments and notes provided by Shri KK Anand of SMART, from one of our friends. We were shocked to see the high standard of questions and concepts covered at SMART in all the three subjects, though we were also doing almost the same chapters. We waited for some more time to have a better look. We were also disappointed with our Physics Classes in overall, though we liked it in patches. Upon enquiry, students of SMART also gave excellent feedback on what they were undergoing. Finally we decided to switch over to SMART during mid July. Though we will be lagging behind in many topics, we thought that it is better late than never. We had a pleasant surprise at SMART. I soon realized that I was lacking in the hard work aspect of the course. Then soon I realized how well KK Sir taught us. I began to cherish each and every class from that day. Anand:- In this competitive world, we as parents should take paramount interest in our child's future education and thereby evaluating potential of our child. If you feel that your child has intelligence above a threshold level, we should ensure that he/she is in the right place for that. I found that so and searched for an appropriate coaching class for him. After an enormous amount of research work, I found that SMART, run by Mr. K.K. Anand is the right place for our children. Mr. K.K. Anand is a person of truth, commitment and transparency and teaches with devotion. He makes the class as lively and as intellectual as possible. This would rejuvenate the students to pay more attention to Mr. Anand's lectures. He provides exhaustive study material and assignments which sharpens the thinking skills of the students. Another important aspect of the course is the rigorous test schedule, which tunes the students to IIT-JEE and Olympiad levels. Mr. Anand has his own winning methodology, which is evident from the result shown by him in the past years in IIT-JEE and Olympiads. Hence my son has benefited a lot and we have seen tremendous improvement in his aptitude and problem solving skills. Umashankar is studying in a CBSE school. When he came to 9 th std, a question came to my mind. •  What is my son going to do? To find an answer the whole family sat and thought of his future. Finally, he told me that he is going to take science group in plus 1. “Catch them young” is a good saying which I remember very well. So I decided to put him in coaching centre, since he has decided to go for some Engineering course but not to any private Eng. College. Like all normal parents I thought, he must try for IIT, BITS and NIT. •  When is the right time to start the preparation? Well, IX std is the right time to start preparing for these 3 competitive exams in my convinced opinion. •  Where to go for preparation for these exams? Well, in Chennai there are not many good coaching centres. Also among the few coaching centres, some of them are very costly and not affordable to all middle class people, some are like tuition centres where they teach 9 th std school portion in 9 th , 10 th school portions in 10 th , which will not definitely help my child. After running from pillar to post, I came to know by word of mouth and not through any advertisements that there is a coaching class called SMART run by Shri. K.K. Anand. I also came to know that concepts are taught very well here and that too the level taught for 9 th std. students will be of std XI CBSE. I decided that this should be the best place because the school load in 11 th std can be followed by my son and so learning the higher level concepts in 9 th itself will help him learn early the IIT syllabus as the time is limited compared to the high volume of IIT syllabus. •  Why should I admit my son in SMART run by Shri. K.K. Anand? 1. The high level concepts are started and taught as early as in 9 th std itself. 2. The numerous good materials provided by him help the student to cover the syllabus elaborately. 3. The syllabus is completed well in advance so that the student can prepare well for the Board exam. 4. Apart from coaching, the main specialty is the tests conducted by him, after each chapter is completed. •  How is SMART? My son after joining here was very concrete in his decision and decided to continue here till +2 because he was able to understand the concepts very well and got the confidence that he can definitely crack more than one of three i.e. IIT-JEE, BITSAT or AIEEE. •  IIT-JEE Coaching: Now, my son is in XII std and he has been having the best of the coaching for IIT-JEE. All the aspects of the training are excellent and my son is showing good progress. The best part is the guidance given by Shri KK Anand who has tremendous influence on the children. In all respects undoubtedly and with all confidence, I can say that SMART run by Shri. K.K. Anand has no comparison in the city and should be one of the best in the country.
